First day in Queensland I saw this member of the silk tree flowers with it´s visitor. The bird yet to be ID:ed but is probably one of the honeyeaters.

As you know I have a lot on my mind but I always returns a visit.

I´m back and for the most part rested. On my way back from Australia I spent 23h in flight and about 15h in airports., waiting. So I was rather tired when I got home after an additional train trip. And I´ve been sleeping a lot.

I was pleased to see you actually used the linkups during my absence. But from now on we are back to normal. Starting Monday with Catching light.

Welcome to a new Winged Edition. Summer is gone and autumn is here and there. So, go for a photo hunt. Fill your files so the winged ones will last through the winter. Flies

Many of you takes really stunning shots of flies and sometimes I wondered if I could do it too. I took these on my way to the supermarket with only my little cameras macro program. Think it turned out pretty well even if it is not a supermacro. But, when I was about to crop the image I noted a tiny fly at the bottom edge of the image. Can you see it? It is a dwarf compared to the other "giants".

As autumn begins up north I´ll do as the birds, I´ll migrate for a few weeks. I´ll go to meet the spring in Australia. Birding! Most of the time I will be in wild country with early mornings and late evenings in field. Long days means no time for blogging. I have a post in my Travel blog that shows where I´ll be. Australia
