Welcome to a new Winged Edition. Summer is gone and autumn is here and there.  So, go for a photo hunt. Fill your files so the winged ones will last through the winter.  If you live in the south you might search your files if there is none flying. Or you can post birds. You need to post if this meme shall stay alive.  :)

Flies

Many of you takes really stunning shots of flies and sometimes I wondered if I could do it too. I took these on my way to the supermarket with only my little cameras macro program. Think it turned out pretty well even if it is not a supermacro. But, when I was about to crop the image I noted a tiny fly at the bottom edge of the image. Can you see it? It is a dwarf compared to the other "giants".

As autumn begins up north I´ll do as the birds, I´ll migrate for a few weeks. I´ll go to meet the spring in Australia. Birding! Most of the time I will be in wild country with early mornings and late evenings in field. Long days means no time for blogging. I have a post in my Travel blog that shows where I´ll be. Australia

I leave todays linky open till I come back. That way you can post each week if you like. I was thinking of scedule the memes but it is too many to be sure they all work. So. I leave it open! Have fun while I´m away.

This is an image I thought I´d make an abstract of but never seem to do it. Now I saw it when I searched and thought I use it today. This fly is walking on the outside of the wavy window of my bathroom. So what you see is the belly of the fly.

Flies in a, acc to wiki,  Colchicum autumnale, commonly known as autumn crocus, meadow saffron or naked lady.  Phew..how about that? Anyway, they are still around.

This is some kind of fly I saw in July. Don´t think I have posted it before. I did see an Admiral this week but I save that one for my butterfly blog. Feel free to visit. :)

Någon sorts fluga jag plåtade i juli. Tror inte jag lagt ut den förut. Jag såg dock en Amiral i veckan, men den lägger jag på fjärilsbloggen. Hälsa gärna på där.
