 This is a very common butterfly in Morocco. We spotted it almost everywhere. But I can understand why they migrate to the northern part of Eurpoe in summer. Morocco is a very harsh environment for butterflies. They were small and very worn out. I have better shots of it but I think this shot shows what it had to deal with. Not only the dryness and harsh sun but the blowing sand as well. Strange what these delicate creatures can put up with.  I did see larger and fresher ones but most of them was like this.

Sorry I am late but I overslept. The Marocco trip took it´s toll as it seems. Much more then I expected it too. Today I only show you a shot I took at Duty Free on my way to the Flight. I happened to see the light and shadow of this bunch of bottle protections and it inspired me a bit to take the shot.

 I was really looking for a buttterfly fromCostaRica when I came across this shot. I don´t know about you, but to me it looks like an insect with wings. I guess it tries to look like a leaf or something. Head, legs and shadow tells me so. I just had to show you. :)

Abstract art: "art that does not attempt to represent external, recognizable reality but seeks to achieve its effect using shapes, forms, colors and textures".

The topic can, of course, be interpreted in many ways and you can use whatever means you want as long as the result is Abstract.
