I have had a question out for a few days about he future of NF Memes. H E R E There are presently 4 water memes on wednesdays and to me that is too much. I said I will either close or move NF Waters. As there seem to be an interest in moving it, NF Waters #50 (suitable no would you say?) will open coming sunday the same time as usual. I hope you follow me. And next week will be a new meme for Abstract Photography on wednesdays.

Välkommna till en ny utgåva av NF Blo-Ma. Memet för allting som har med blommor och macro foton att göra. Dvs ett meme för både och, där Blo står för blomma och Ma för macro. Ett tack till alla som var med förra veckan.

Welcome to a new edition of NF Blo-Ma. A meme all about Flowers and Macro shots. The name might need an explanation for international players. Blo comes from the swedish word for flower, blomma and Ma is for macro. English translation would be Flo-Ma but that does not sound so good in Swedish so Blo-Ma it is. Thanks everyone who joined last week.

NF Inspiring Photography/Catching the light 23

NF Inspiring Photography, a meme for creative and inspiring photography and photo art. Share the shots you were inspired to take or make. And then, this is the place to showcase them. To Inspire others and get inspired by them. But mostly, have fun.

As a request from Hans HB "NF Inspiring Photography" will slightly change and focus more on how to create images with light or lack of light. As some of you might have noticed the frase "Catching the light" is since long on my Photography page header so the change is close at hand.

The topic can, of course, be interpreted in many ways. And don´t worry, you can still post whatever you already prepared for today. Have fun!

NF Photo 121103

This is quite a simple shot that happened almost by accident. I was working with the flashlight and set it down on my kitchen table. On the table I have a transparent plastic cover and the light from the flash came out through the, maybe 1 mm thick, cover making it blue. Then I added my alias. :)

Upcoming Changes on NF Memes

Note!
There will be changes on my memes soon. But I´m not clear about exactly how yet.

1) NF Waters
First "NF Waters" will either move to sundays or be closed down. Since I started NF Waters there has started two other water memes. The last one when I was in Morocco I think. The other two is named Water World Wednesday hosted by Kim and Watery Wednesday 2 hosted by Tricia. Well, three water memes on wednesdays are a crowd. Too much for my taste. So, now I ask you.... do you want to play on sundays? Or is two water memes on wednesday enough for one week? Please let me know.

NB, there is even one at http://www.photo-roma.net/ So four memes it is.

2) Abstract Photography/Art
In any case wednesdays will be free for other things. I have been thinking about starting a meme for "Abstract Photography/Art" which I think would be fun. Is there any interest in that? I guess I can count on Leovi at least. :) I thought the upcoming holidays would be a great opportunity to create abstracts. So, I need a quick response.

So, what IS Abstract?

Abstraction and abstract art - Imagery which departs from representational accuracy, to a variable range of possible degrees, for some reason other than verisimilitude. Abstract artists select and then exaggerate or simplify the forms suggested by the world around them.

3) NF Inspiring Photography/Catching the light
As a request from Hans HB "NF Inspiring Photography" will slightly change and focus more on how to create images with light or lack of light. Or simply show what inspiring light you found today.
