This is an image from my trip to Hornborga Lake last weekend. As you can see the ice finally opens up a bit. But not much so far. Birds are waiting. Lots of swans here now.

There are still open water in this lake. Mostly due to a stream going through it. So, no skating and no fishing here. But in summer you swim.
