This is an image from Honolulu on my trip last year. I took an evening beach promenade. From this photo you might think it is the lamp giving the palmtree its color. But it is the sunset that gives it the golden glow. The light of the lamp was not strong enough to do that and not close enoguh either.

A quick reminder of DAM coming up this Wednesday. Optional theme is water.

I took this image in Honolulu in August. I did not see so many of them as I had expected but most, like this one, was very beautiful. Now it is your turn to show us what you have. If you live in the south you might have fresh images. If you live up north you might have something in your files or any birds.

NF Blo-Ma 74 A flowering tree

Every Tuesday

NF Blo-Ma 74
Welcome to a new edition of NF Blo-Ma.  A meme all about Flowers and Macro shots. The name might need an explanation for international players. Blo comes from the Swedish word for flower, blomma and Ma is for macro. English translation would be Flo-Ma but that does not sound so good in Swedish so Blo-Ma it is. Thanks everyone who joined last week.
If flower comes short this time of year dont´ forget you can link up macro shots.
Addition: Why not make some flower and macro art while you are at it? To add a little more fun to the meme.

We were stopping at a place to buy Shaved Ice and this beautiful light was beside the building. But you don´t have to travel that far to find great light.

I´m back from Honolulu and today I share a shot from my granddaughters university. In Honolulu it is hard not to catch light. There are really too much light and little shadow. As can be seen in this shot. Hard light from above makes it quite hard for a photographer. Best times for photography was mornings and evenings.
Let me see what you have captured while I was gone.
