This is a meme, or meeting place, for everything with wings. I´d like to see flying creatures from all over the world. The purpose with memes is to visit other participants and to have fun. The Small Copper is one of my favourites among butterflies. A small one but easy to spot because of it´s color. And it is kind enough to let me take it´s picture now and then.

NF Digital Art Meme, DAM 5

NF Digital Ar Meme, a meme for digital artwork. photo art and creative work.
The two memes, NF Abstract and NF Digital Art Meme, will take turns. The good thing is that you can post Abstract every week as that is also Digital.

The new meme will allow any kind of digital art. You can post anything from photo art, straight from the camera, to complicated texture work. You can take a shot of your pottery and make it digital. As long as you are the artist. I hope to see some of the black and white artists I often see on Weekend in Black and White. You create good arts in your camera.

It is not nessessary to give all details of your work. An artist must have some secrets and, well, how we did it is most of the time impossible to describe anyway. And we work with different software.

Next week is NF Abstract week. Be sure to visit if you want The optional theme for next DAM.

This is a piece I created a year and a half ago. Think it is worth sharing again. There is no way I can explain how I did it :)

The optional theme I gave for this week is "In your hand". Really, with this image in mind. :)

Next time when it should be DAM again I´ll be on the other side of the globe. I will leave a post open for both NF DAM and NF Abstract while I am away. So you can still post, but without any given theme. But next week there will be NF Abstract as usual.

What I share today is a metal artwork in our new Tourist Center. Could be our city sky line if the different parts were not scattered all over the city. But I like it. The background light enhances it a lot. To bad it is on floor level, most people don´t see it. Not even the staff were aware of it. :(

NF Abstract, a meme for abstract photo art and creative work. Well, as a photographer of course I love to see photoabstract. But any kind of abstracts are welcome. Like paint or whatever other things that can be seen as abstract.
Abstract art: "art that does not attempt to represent external, recognizable reality but seeks to achieve its effect using shapes, forms, colors and textures".

The topic can, of course, be interpreted in many ways and you can use whatever means you want as long as the result is Abstract.

This is one of the largest farms close to my city. Image taken July 20th when we had very hot weather. The little pond that looks green was drying out. The yellow fields enhanced the light. Or maybe it was the other way around?

Ladybug - Nyckelpiga

A well known bug I think. I have not seen many of them this summer so I was very pleased when I spotted this one. And it is the old one. I have learned that lots or other ladybugs is moving in from the east. So far they don´t seem to be in my area.
